A typical outdoor sauna kit will cost thousands of dollars, but they are built cheaply with thin profiles to prioritize lightweight transport and low manufacturing costs. They also lack premium insulation, leaving you with an inefficient structure that struggles in harsh winter climates. LÜTSAUNA builds differently. Backed by extensive sauna design and installation experience, we craft residential-grade, structural, lifetime saunas. Weight is not a restriction for us, so we utilize full-dimensional framing lumber, thick insulation, and lifetime-warranted roofing materials to build vessels that are engineered to withstand decades of usage. To ensure a seamless delivery and long-term structural durability, your sauna must be installed on a level, solid, and hard surface. Excellent foundation options include a poured concrete slab, a concrete pier/block network, or a packed crushed rock base with a minimum depth of 6 inches.
While our team handles the complete indoor prefabrication and on-site positioning of the finished structure, we will provide an in-depth specification sheet and guide you through the preparation steps ahead of delivery day.
Our high-performance electric heating systems (such as our 9-kilowatt WiFi-controlled IKI heaters) generally require a dedicated 60-amp circuit breaker setup. We recommend contacting a local electrical professional to have this primary wiring established at your site prior to the structure's arrival.
Once our team has securely positioned the fully assembled sauna on your foundation, you will hire a licensed local electrician to execute the final hardwired connections for the heater and integrated lighting.
